If you follow us, you can expect tweets covering some or all of the following:
- Press Releases on the Office ofEmergency Planning’s activities and Ministerial speeches relating to emergency planning activities
- Event information and occasional live coverage of events
- Alerts about new content on our websites
- Other practical information on services available

Who we follow
If you follow us, we will not automatically follow you back. This is to help our followers identify other Twitter accounts that we are following such as other Government Departments, Houses of the Oireachtas, relevant European institutions and accounts of particular relevance to Ireland.
@Replies and Direct Messages
We welcome feedback from our followers and will try to join the conversation where possible.
However, we will not be able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via Twitter. The best means of communicating a query to the Office of Emergency Planning is by availing of various contact options outlined here.

The OEP will only be operating the Twitter account during normal working hours.
